Delivery & Lead Times
Objena client notes
Reviewed August 2026
A lead time should describe a real route, not a generic promise. Objena confirms where the piece is coming from and what the estimate includes before the order proceeds.
Route 01
Confirmed Australian stock.
When the exact piece and finish are confirmed in stock, dispatch is arranged from Sydney or Melbourne. The delivery window depends on preparation, carrier availability, destination and access. “In stock” does not mean same-day dispatch.
Route 02
Overseas maker or warehouse.
If Australian stock is unavailable, the piece may be supplied from the relevant overseas maker or warehouse. Your consultant confirms the current overseas availability, freight route and expected window before payment. Customs, consolidation and specialist furniture handling may form part of the schedule.
Route 03
Made to order.
Production begins after the maker accepts the final product, finish and quantity. The quoted lead time starts from that confirmation, not from the first enquiry. It is an estimate unless a date is expressly guaranteed in writing.
Delivery planning
The last metres matter.
Tell us about stairs, lifts, loading restrictions, narrow entries, parking and building-booking requirements before quotation. Large, fragile or heavy pieces may require a specialist furniture service or additional people.
